The Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995, as amended ( 2 U.S.C.§ 1601 et. Seq.), requires lobbying firms and organizations to register and file reports on lobbying and certain contributions and expenses with the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House of Representatives.
The Registration form (LD-1) is used for the initial registration under Section 4 of the Act (2 U.S.C. § 1603). The Report Activity form (LD-2) is used for complying with the quarterly reporting requirements of Section 5 of the Act (2 U.S.C. § 1604). The contribution form (LD-203) is used for the semi annual disclosure of certain contributions pursuant to Section 5 of the Act (2 U.S.C § 1604(d)).
